Users can now suggest skills for Emsi to add to our skill library. Simply click the “suggest a new skill” link and fill out the appropriate information.
Skills Section in Job Postings Table
We just added a Skills section to the Job Postings Table. Now you can find which skills related to your search are emerging or changing over time.
Historical Occupation Earnings Data
Emsi now offers historical occupation earnings data. You can now view earnings data over a series of years and understand how wages are changing in the Occupation Table and Occupation Map. Read more about the methodology behind historic earnings data here.
2019.3 Datarun
The 2019.3 datarun is now final. The update includes many updated sources and methodology changes to staffing pattern areas, historical occupational wage estimates, self employed earnings, earnings for military-only occupations, and local absorption in the input-output model. Search Projects
We added a search bar to Projects so that users can quickly find their work. The search is based on the Project name given by the user.
Projects
Users can now save projects! A project is a report with custom parameters and filters that can be saved and named to access later from the My Projects section of the Home page. Watch a quick overview below or read the how-to guide.
New & Refreshed Emsi Profiles
We added 17M new profiles and updated data within millions of other profiles. This is reflected in the Profile Analytics report. The update also includes improvements to our tagging profile processes and an update to version 6.10 of our skills taxonomy.
