Historically minimum wage laws have been implemented at the state and national levels. However, in recent years, many cities and counties have instituted their own regional minimum wages. Emsi now collects and displays these regional minimum wages within the Occupation Snapshot.

We just added new data to the Job Posting Analytics report that shows the distribution of education level and minimum experience requested by employers.

We just added a Skills section to the Job Postings Table. Now you can find which skills related to your search are emerging or changing over time.
Emsi now offers historical occupation earnings data. You can now view earnings data over a series of years and understand how wages are changing in the Occupation Table and Occupation Map. Read more about the methodology behind historic earnings data here.
The 2019.3 datarun is now final. The update includes many updated sources and methodology changes to staffing pattern areas, historical occupational wage estimates, self employed earnings, earnings for military-only occupations, and local absorption in the input-output model.
